I heard Brett is going on a recruiting visit to Tennessee this coming weekend. I know he was offered by Morehead this past weekend and UC also likes him a lot.

The million dollar question.....official visit or just I wanna see a football game in Leyland visit? Brett is my favorite football player to watch in NKy. Tennessee is hitting the big time.

What position does he play?

Football: WR and LB.....along with punting and kick return duties.

He's getting close to 6'3, prob 6'2.5 and weighs around 185. Lots of room for weight, kind of slight lower body. I'm a baseball guy, he ran a 6.6 60 yard at a showcase. Tough to extrapolate on that, but if you just do the math it's a 4.4, guess it would be a little higher than that. He's really fast though. Could project in football as Safety or OLB if he gets to 220 ish

If he's close to 6'3, runs a 4.4 and can get to 220 he shouldn't have any trouble playing elite football, assuming he's a student of the game, a good citizen and a great scholar.

 

Haven't seen him play in a couple of seasons so good to know he's still growing.

IMO, Slusher's a great HS FB player, but, I don't see him as SEC caliber.. He could play in the OVC and do well and maybe even a MAC type school, which isn't bad at all, I just think he'd get recruited over at Tennessee and never see the field, except maybe special teams his Jr and Sr years.

I wouldn't think this would be correct

 

The last 20 yards he would be at top speed meaning the larger percentage of the 60 yards he is running full speed to get 6.6 seconds.. whereas with a 40 yard dash you have less time at top speed because you are having to start from 0 and accelerate the large portion of it

 

I have no mathematical proof but I would think this equates more to like a 4.55 or 4.6 40 than a 4.4... if someone can correct me though I would like to know the answer.

Based on what I have seen and what I have read on BGP and other posts,he has some of the best football instincts I have ever seen; he is a great young man; ACT over 30. A school like Miami Ohio or Ohio University should be all over this kid.
