Good luck to the young man! I am happy for him and his family. These players committments gets lost in our threads sometimes (although this is preaching to the choir). Glad to see it starting to really pay off for him.

I can just tell you I have seen the invite from Tennessee for this weekend and it is legit!! He projects as a WR/S in college.

Great player and whatever he decides, I wish him the best. Wether it be Football or Baseball. Who knows, maybe he plays both!

IMO, Slusher's a great HS FB player, but, I don't see him as SEC caliber.. He could play in the OVC and do well and maybe even a MAC type school, which isn't bad at all, I just think he'd get recruited over at Tennessee and never see the field, except maybe special teams his Jr and Sr years.

 

It's hard to predict who will be good at other levels and not. Tom Brady was drafted in the 6th round. Other great players are even originally walk ons at college. All I know is that slusher kid no doubt has the most important factor: work ethic.
