No, I'm not dismissing the win over HHS at all. What I'm saying is using HHS as a measuring stick this year to show how good a team is isn't very telling.

In CWB's defense the same SK team that beat Highlands 42-3 beat Conner 54-0 at Conner. I don't see anyone below HHS fairing any better against their schedule.

True to a point. For a while we played HHS every year and lost. We knew this year would be different and it had nothing to do with the state of their program.

I have Simon Kenton as a solid favorite over Ryle and the Highlands game didn't change that opinion.

Good thing we still get to play them. They were favorites last year too and got out with a win by the skin of their teeth. We have improved more than they have. They are one dimensional. I don't think Their passing game is strong enough to beat a quality opponet. No rushing, no win. Opinions don't matter this gets settled on the field.

It is nice that this game is one that we get to see played out. I see it as a high scoring game that Ryle needs to win the turnover battle in to have a chance to win. SK will score 40 on Ryle with no turnovers. Can Ryle score that many on SK?
