No. I'm going to get a mallet and obliterate my PC. I'm too serious.

I was doubling it each year...and splitting hairs.

Covington Catholic is a very good team, but for DeSales.. They were without their best player Austin Andrews who plays RB/DB for the Stallions, he is committed to play CB at Michigan State. I feel he would've made a difference in the game.

Thanks for stopping by Central OH Football.

When you say CB at Michigan State I automatically think Pro Football Potential. I hope Austin is ready to go soon.

On your team, if you guys can refine your passing attack and get your star player back, the Stallions have a lot of potential.

Hats off to DeSales they came ready to play and made our Blue Colonels pay for the turnovers they had which just due to the sheer volume are tough to overcome for any team. I was impressed with DeSales speed of play on defense particularly their defensive backs and linebacker #5 . They were reading routes well and had very good closing speed once the ball was in the air.

I agree there were some positives to take away from this and last week's games to build on for district play. In between all the turnovers yesterday the Colonels seemed to move the ball pretty well and the defense without question kept them in the game allowing DeSales to convert only 2 of 10 third downs. Now that's get'n it done. Much has been talked about the youth of this team and yes they are very young in some key positions. With that youth you're going to have some inconsistency of play from time to time. However those young men are learning and growing with each game and although the score yesterday didn't reflect it they are getting better individually and as a team. The old sayings that football games are won in the trenches and defense wins championships were never more true than with this team. IMHO the deciding factors for this team moving forward into district games will be the play of their O-line and their defense, both of which have continued to improve and be more physical with each game. Good luck Colonels!

Panda, those are some great photos. The quality is simply amazing.

I saw the updates and have been on here before.. Thought I'd hop on and Jin the convo, seems very lively and I like it!!

Cov Cath is a team I personally have a a lot of respect for. I really think they're better than the 1-5 record.

DeSales is solid, but their offense was without an electric player, not to mention a stud in the defensive backfield. His speed and ability to make people miss is something that I don't usually see when talking about DeSales. They're usually the kind to just hit you in the mouth a couple dozen times and get some yards, but Andrews has agility like few I've seen at DeSales at least recently.

He is a 3 star recruit. I think he'lol do well at MSU.

Also the D-Linemen who returned the fumble.. The 315 pounder. He is a 3 star who has offers from Boston College and Wisconsin among others.

Cov Cath D as impressive. I saw some film and they really did well tackling especially gang tackling. I think they'll surprise some people down the stretch. If I heard properly then all the teams in their district make the playoffs? If so they'll be ready!

CCH stunk. I saw no spirit before or during the game and the crowd was weak.

Saturday afternoons kill crowds especially when the opponent is from Columbus.

Nothing new.

Speaking of Saturday games, CWB got me to pony the $20 for premium membership, so I could read about these lights that were coming.

Is there any update on the lights?

The lights will help! The colonels are doing a big push for $$ as we speak to finish the stadium with lights being #1 priority.

Great drive by- now you can go away
