I know someone who, while in college during/after Sept 11th, helped hide a Muslim classmate. They were worried for his safety.

I agree. Tolerance isn't something we practice well in the USA.

If thousands of Muslims are having to hide their religion to protect their life, then why do I not hear about thousands of known/"open" Muslims being killed in the US because of their religion? There any countless Muslims living openly in this country (including my wife and my in-laws), and they are not under threat for their life...

You said physical danger first and now you have changed it to killed. If killed is the verb then I'll change it to hundreds and not thousands.

Yes a joke. I dont like Obama, but if he says he is a Christian I am not his judge. I just say he is a terrible one with his stances.
