Simon Kenton 26 Cooper 7

I wasn't at the game but 7 secs sounds like too long. The only way that would have happened is if he was scrambling around and if that is the case it could happen but it Is also harder to find a receiver when you're concentrating in digesting defenders.

With that said. Again I wasn't at the game but am going ahead with more confidence knowing if TCA gets healthy and these two teams meet again, Cooper has a very good chance of being in the other side of the final score.

A little bit of confidence goes a long way and hopefully the players now realize it wasn't SK so much as themselves last night that determined the final outcome. I think these boys can hang with the team everyone has playing in the funks this year.

You could have a Semi at running back Cooper will not beat SK if they play again! You will be 0-7 next time they play.

Funny I haven't seen RaiderRailBird post yet

He's still waiting for those 7 TD's. I thought I saw him still sitting in the stands this morning as I drove by.

Then who was it? Them predicting SK big doesn't make them an SK supporter.

Who said anything about having to be a SK parent etc? UKFan has predicted a Cooper loss every week and he isn't a fan of their opponents.

Go read it yourself if you don't believe me. I did my research.

Really??? Don't be childish and be realistic. Yes, on several occasions he had 7+++ seconds to throw and held onto the ball. SK defense may be good but they aren't the second coming of the steel curtain either.

No chance he stood in the pocket for 7 seconds.

I read your posts in the update thread. I have zero confidence in your ability to post accurately. Your bias gets in the way.

He's not being childish at all. I agree with him 100%. Hardly EVER does a team have 7 seconds to throw the ball. And even two to three times a game having that much time would be a miracle! He is dead on in his post. Sorry, but after the update thread last night and the comment you just made, it seems you aren't too in touch with reality.

Wasn't at the game, but I have to side with Clyde and RCC9. Now maybe he held it for 7+ seconds.........scrambling for his life, that I could agree with.

And on the other side,SK realizes they left about 24 points on the board by not converting FG's, PAT's and twice in the red zone. So I'm sure they're feeling pretty good about things as well.

I'm sure they do feel good and should. Because outside of a very jaded SK fan, the team itself realizes they just played a pretty good team and to come

Away with a W is huge.

The first two series of the game Cooper drove down to @ the SK 35 before stalling out. They started on their one 28 and 20 on those drives. That was @ 80 yards on its own just in the first quarter.....

Uh, the first play was a pass interference call so. If you want to count penalty yards, ok.

Like I said in the update thread...when are teams going to realize that Coach Borchers always throws a pass the first play on offense in every game, all the way back to Ludlow.

37 yarder against camels that wouldn't have made it another 6 inches, hasn't had a kickoff inside 10 this year. He is decent but still amazing a school that size doesn't have a kicker that can reach the end zone.

Maybe because he doesn't. He didn't last week I know for a fact and it seems to be mixing it up to open games.

That would be the first in years, of course, I might have missed one or two games over the last 10 plus years.

TCA is good for 6-12 points when he's on the field. Some games more. Against a good D he's still dangerous.

Based on what some have posted, they were only missing one starter, TCA.

Ihave seen Armstrong two years in a row now, and was not impressed. Jackson (a junior) stepped in last week and looked good.

All teams experience injuries, why does it keep being used as a footnote to losses by Cooper fans the last two years. Depth on a teams roster determines how they overcome injuries. Jackson is good enough to step in and give good production.

Jackson was also limited due to injury. #13 (a sophomore) was running back - moved from blocking back and starting safety for the game.

Trust me, now that SK beat Cooper, I will bet a dozen donuts that he picks Cooper over Ryle. (Which will be a close game either way in my opinion) But indeed he will be a Cooper Fan that week
