Really?

So there's a chance you would pick Ryle? That'd be almost like an olive branch to the Ryle fans : )

I really don't care who wins! SK is better than both!

Can't disgree with you at this point, Ryle v Cooper and Ryle v SK is going to be fun to watch nonetheless. But a non-opinion at this point, can we hold that to you when the Ryle V Cooper prediction thread comes out?

I think Ryle will beat Cooper.

Based on what some have posted, they were only missing one starter, TCA.

Ihave seen Armstrong two years in a row now, and was not impressed. Jackson (a junior) stepped in last week and looked good.

All teams experience injuries, why does it keep being used as a footnote to losses by Cooper fans the last two years. Depth on a teams roster determines how they overcome injuries. Jackson is good enough to step in and give good production.

I don't use injuries as a footnote for Cooper as a reason they lost to SK. Actually I was saying because of TCA being out makes me feel better about Cooper for keeping it a game if not for a dropped pick 6 and a TD that wasn't called one. Just gives me hope to think what they can do if TCA gets back.

Trust me, now that SK beat Cooper, I will bet a dozen donuts that he picks Cooper over Ryle. (Which will be a close game either way in my opinion) But indeed he will be a Cooper Fan that week

No. He can't stand Cooper simply because they have been more successful.

Big if.

On the 7 seconds thing. SK could have dropped 8 and played contain on pass rush... They did that a lot during the station game

Good win for SK. Coach Marksberry and staff have done a great job with the program. Wasn't there, but sounded like it could have been a closer game.

DD I will have to correct you though, Coach Borchers does not start every game with a pass. It's easy to think but over the years he's actually pretty 50/50 run/pass on first plays.

As for the people commenting about route combos for Cooper, they do in fact have pass combos that have been deemed effective over the years. As for the TE, it's more of a blocking position in the Cooper offense. The kids who have been moved over the years better served the team as Ts rather than TEs. Especially the year of state where Taylor Centers was a TE and eventually moved to T. Same thing with Dustin Mitchell.

Again, congrats to SK on the win and Cooper will keep getting better. Coach Borchers and his staff will have the Jags ready by the playoffs as he does every year.

The state team also had Ludwig play TE who was their backup QB that year and starting QB in 2013.

I also believe Will is now back helping coach.

How, exactly, has Cooper been more successful than SK?

Cooper 1 State final game 2 regional titles in only the last 4 years.

SK 1 state title game 1 regional title in 50 years.

Just the facts ma'am.

How many playoff games has Cooper won in 6A? How many times has Cooper beat SK? The answer to both questions is zero! You forgot the key facts!

How many playoff games has SK won in 5A? How many times has SK beaten HHS to this date?

Two can play this silly game.

I am willing to stick my neck on the line and say Cooper will win their first ever 6A playoff game they've ever been to. How many years did it take SK to even make the playoffs?
