Simon Kenton 26 Cooper 7

Featured Replies

Cooper essentially had zero offense except for two plays. The pass to Hedrix and the TD pass.

SK had first and goal from inside the five and had zero points to show for it...to Coopers credit but the did miss the field goals.

I don't disagree, but so did Cooper. I think the stand by SK's defense at the end of the first half was the key. It was Cooper's chance to steal the momentum and SK stood tough. Then the pick 6 from Hendrix that he dropped could have made things very interesting. I do think SK controlled most of the game, but Cooper definitely had their chances.

Outside of the two plays I mentioned, I wonder if Cooper had over 125 yards of offense.

It is amazing how even in a win Some of the SK fans here still over exaggerate their teams abilities..... Hope your coach doesn't do that as there were a lot of things to work on.

One thing is certain, Cooper isn't going to fear SK if they meet in the playoffs.

Really??? Don't be childish and be realistic. Yes, on several occasions he had 7+++ seconds to throw and held onto the ball. SK defense may be good but they aren't the second coming of the steel curtain either.

No chance he stood in the pocket for 7 seconds.

I read your posts in the update thread. I have zero confidence in your ability to post accurately. Your bias gets in the way.

The first two series of the game Cooper drove down to @ the SK 35 before stalling out. They started on their one 28 and 20 on those drives. That was @ 80 yards on its own just in the first quarter.....

No chance he stood in the pocket for 7 seconds.

Did you watch the game or are just going on the unbiased facts from doubledeuce and ukfan#1???

My brain works. No chance he stood there for 7 seconds. Doesn't happen.

Find the film on Hudl and post it.

What would DoubleDeuce's bias be?

He's not being childish at all. I agree with him 100%. Hardly EVER does a team have 7 seconds to throw the ball. And even two to three times a game having that much time would be a miracle! He is dead on in his post. Sorry, but after the update thread last night and the comment you just made, it seems you aren't too in touch with reality.

Looking through the prediction thread a lot of the level headed true football knowledgable folks did not predict a blowout. But there were a handful that did besides UK#1fan. Several predicting 4td and more difference. One even swearing SK would score at least 7 TD's and that wasn't even UKFan.

Then who was it? Them predicting SK big doesn't make them an SK supporter.

I don't even think SK makes the title game. Scott County takes them out and we give you grief during the off season again.

SC just gave up 40 points to Lafayette they are not very good.

SK had several sacks.

I wasn't at the game but 7 secs sounds like too long. The only way that would have happened is if he was scrambling around and if that is the case it could happen but it Is also harder to find a receiver when you're concentrating in digesting defenders.

With that said. Again I wasn't at the game but am going ahead with more confidence knowing if TCA gets healthy and these two teams meet again, Cooper has a very good chance of being in the other side of the final score.

A little bit of confidence goes a long way and hopefully the players now realize it wasn't SK so much as themselves last night that determined the final outcome. I think these boys can hang with the team everyone has playing in the funks this year.
