Clearly last night was not the best Defensive showing. Could be many things. I'm confident all will be corrected. Male, though, should be commended for exploiting the weaknesses in what has to this point been a very solid defense. And Male has the personnel and coaching to do that.

I would suspect that Male's coaching staff did a great job, too, in preparing for this game.

I suspect Coach Beatty is asking the players and his D coordinator the same question. No shame in losing to Male, but with the gap that big the boys are going to be put to work in practice.

So I guess the question is now who is going to rival Male? Can St. X stop these guys? or does any other team in the state have a shot? maybe Simon Kenton?

There are still several weeks until the playoffs, but Male should be the favorite in any match-up going forward. However, plenty can change in two-three months, and these teams might beat them in the play-offs: Trinity, Scott County, St. X, Manual, and SK. That's my opinion of course but given current data I doubt any other team has a chance do so.

Like many others I did not see this one coming. I knew Male could win but not like that.

Just stopping in to say congrats to Male. Great win Bulldogs. I was not expecting to see this score.

I think the Dawgs had the "Have fun turning in your equipment." remark on their bulletin board!
