I know what the Danville fans think but do you really think Danville will score more than 3 TD's against Boyle County? Just curious...

 

I feel like they will. Probably a special teams TD and 2-3 big plays. I'm not sold they will be able to outscore us but I won't be surprised if they win. They have a lot of speed. They also turn the ball over too much and that plays right into our hands.

Larue County isn't good. I know this for a fact and it is indisputable. Rockcastle County may be good but they are not at Boyle County's level. That is indisputable also.

I wouldn't be surprised if Danville scores more than 21 points but I'm taking Boyle County 42-21. Boyle County is pretty solid on both sides of the ball and I just feel like they will get the job done.

 

Danville hasn't been in a dog fight in the first two games so I'm curious to how they will respond IF the game does get close.

What worries me the most about this game for Danville is the turnovers. If the can keep the turnovers to a minimum they will have a shot. I think they will. Danville 35-31.

This is going to be an awesome game. If my GC Golden Lions didn't have a big rivalry game at Lincoln this week, I would definitely be in attendance for this one. If I HAD to pick, I would go with Boyle...but those ADS have just as much momentum going into this one. Better get there early for this one...

As for the game, if this were two random teams playing I would say Boyle is 3-4 TD's better.

The two big improvements I see in Danville are the receivers are catching the ball, and the defense is improved. The defense is not giving up big plays and they are much more aggressive. Danville's defensive line was much smaller than Rockcastle, but they pretty much controlled the line which is a great improvement from last year. Last year the Ads would have a back stopped only to let them go for a big gain. I haven't seen that this year. Boyle has to be favored in this game but Danville is much improved from last year. Also people are questioning Danville's schedule, I understand about Larue Co., but RC looked solid. My question is about Bell Co., how good were they?, or were people going off past reputation? They beat Middlesboro easily, but I think Middlesboro is down and lost a lot of players from last year.

In the prediction thread the people outside of Boyle and Bell I felt had a pretty good read on Bell.

 

The Bobcats are a team who does things well, but are a flawed team and a far cry from some of the Bell teams from earlier this decade.

 

Bell has a big line and good size all the way around but their numbers are down and their depth is not what it usually is. Bell has also struggled the past couple years because they simply don't have much team speed or playmakers.

 

Not a bad team.. but not a great team... just a good team.

They got absolutely rocked by Danville just like Bell County did to Boyle County. So please explain how they looked solid!

They were huge and passed the look test. When they came out on the field I thought Danville would not be able to stop the RC ground attack. Danville completely stuffed them up the middle. RC went to power sweeps got some yardage and scored, Danville adjusted well and that was the ball game. Danville much quicker and faster.

Bell County passed the eye test until the game started. Even though they had short field position they had a drive going their first possession and I thought it was going to be a great game. Like Danville, Boyle County adjusted to what Bell County did well and punished them.

I give you are probably right Danville has one of the best defenses in the state, and the losses to Danville are the only ones the Rock and Larue will suffer in the regular season.
