My prediction is within the next 10 years. By 2025 there will be a merging of the school systems. It's coming.

I've been around this game since the 70's. IMO...it's not as bad as it once was because I couldn't stand Harp and Duffy! Now, other than the Boyle game I cheer for Danville to win them all. Clevenger I like :sssh:

Not saying you're wrong, but I've been hearing this for the last 20 to 25 years and in my opinion their is to much dislike between the powers that be for this to happen I think Danville will stay an independent for many years to come.

Duffy was my coach, not very likeable, was hard core to the bone. Some of the stuff he did and said would get him fired today, but back then it worked and I think laid the ground work for Danville's run with Coach Harp.

I sure hope you're wrong. It would be devastiting if this happens at Boyle and is done the same way as the Mercer merger as the Scotties became the Titians. Anything other than Black n Gold Rebels will be unacceptable in my book! #Rebelpride #Rebel4life

It's been talked about for years so I guess time will tell. That would be one talented team when the time does come. Hopefully it never comes to that though.

IMO I think it would be like mercer I'm not sure you could get the kids to play together although there would be tons of talent and potential.

The kids played together at Mercer. It was the parents who were the issue. The kids at Boyle and Danville would play together. It would be the parents who are the issue. The kids play together now. All of the time.
