It definitely moved the rivalry to another level. Now Boyle County has to endure allegations of all kinds of craziness from the folks across town because of the success of the football program and recent domination of the crosstown rivalry. Everyone hates a winner.

Not sure exactly what allegations you are talking about, but not all the Ads fans are doing that, I guess the ones you are around. I think Boyle's winning is because of good coaching, better talent. I think Danville may be on the up tick, Clevenger seems to have restored some discipline and work ethic to the program.

It's more or less complaints about transfers and kids being held back and every now and then some try to make baseless claims about former players. I'm always taken aback by the hate and passion that the football rivalry brings out because this game means absolutely nothing to either team. How the football rivalry is more important than the basketball rivalry when the basketball games actually mean way way more in the grand scheme of things baffles me.

Nothing is ever what it is made out to be from where I am standing. Since 2008. Anything before 2008 and I can't confirm or deny or offer an explanation to. Anything after 2008 and I'm fairly certain I have the "whole story". :lol2:

I got screamed at pretty good once at a red light and I couldn't figure out what was happening. After it was over...I realized that I had on a Danville hat on game day.

Well I graduated from Boyle in 1988 and I can tell you that back in those days most were true. Now like you said some were not but back in my day kids were not as nice as a lot of the kids now. That is at Boyle and Danville.
