Happy to have him. This boy can play!!!! Will make a nice "local" addition to the Norse.

 

IMO, gets like Williams will be what will stir some life and interest back into the Norse program. That, and the fact that he is a bona fide D-I player.

Congrats Carson. One of the hardest working high school players I have ever seen. I believe the Norse games will get a lot more exciting now.

I read an interview where he said Coach Brannen will use him at both the 3 and the 4. Proximity to Owenton helped the cause as well as facilities and the other incoming recruits.

Great fit, Carson has substantial upside. I would not be surprised to see the young man earn some professional money down the road. Plus he is off the chart smart on top of his great basketball abilities. Great get for the new regime at NKU.

As has been said, it is always good to see KY kids getting the chance to play close to home. I think that's a great fit for him and he will have a good career there. I always kind of figured he'd end up there if the opportunity presented itself. And it did as soon as the new coach arrived on campus.

 

Interesting that both he and Faulkner chose NKU over EKU. Assuming the EKU staff truly wanted and pursued those two, it has to be somewhat of a shock for them to lose out to Northern - especially on both!
