August 25, 201511 yr Domestic dispute. Lady was granted custody of the kids, and it didn't go well. He tried to force her into a car a gunpoint, she ran in the house. He kicked the door in and held her hostage. He finally released her and took his own life. I know this can happen anywhere, but I'm glad I moved out of that subdivision years ago. We had nothing but issues that last year we lived there.

While true, it doesn't have to be an "either/or" situation either. Some people get so wrapped it in what should essentially be "fleeting" emotions that they can't or choose not to look down the road, all they do is focus on the right now. If everyone snapped when they got really upset and either killed themselves or others, then there would be anyone left on this plant.

All I'm saying is I'm glad there is only 1 person dead today rather than 4. Prayers for all involved.

To paraphrase a comedian (Denis Leary? - I don't remember). If you have the uncontrollable urge to go out and shoot someone, take one for the team.
