I noticed some teams that were winless last season, and maybe even longer than that, won their opening game last night.

 

Hopkins County Central, McCreary Central, Bracken County, and Ohio County. Any others?

2A Holy Cross was 1-10 last year and beat 4A Holmes 24-20 last night to begin their season 1-0.

Forgetting Somerset was a combination brain fart and me just not knowing HS football very well.

brossart was 1-8 last year, including a loss told dayton.

Last night they beat dayton 35 to 0.

This was the list going into last night's games. Five teams (bolded) in the top ten broke their streaks last night. Hopefully the rest of these guys can get their first win soon.
