I wouldn't overlook the Comets with the Tomcats looming next week.

There will be no overlooking the Comets. Rams will be all about Taking Care of Business.

When crunch-time arrives, who makes the big decision now?

Salmons or Vanderhoof?

Salmons he's the head coach lol

Salmons - 1 year as head coach

Vanderhoof - 13 years as head coach

I am sure that Salmons will rely on Vanderhoof's vast experience.

That is a good thing!

West Carter 26 Raceland 21

What is your analysis on how the game will play out?

I believe that Raceland will take the lead early by 2 TD's, but West Carter will hold steady and win in the final moments with a game-winning TD.

West Carter might have its best team in years. I think they can stay close for a half, but Raceland wears the Comets down in the 2nd.

Braden Browns speed could be a good prep for Raceland playing Ashland with Baker, but the only difference is that he's a quarterback so that's a completely different ball game

Two words: Line Play. Everyone always talks about the skill guys, but watching both teams play yesterday, line play is the difference. Both teams have some fast guys, some guys that can throw, some guys that can catch, but one team has the OL/DL to win.

Like most years, Raceland wins in the trenches.

I agree with Raceland having the advantage with the BIGS.

However, the BIGS have a more difficult time in August than the skill players.

This is why I am going with West Carter.

Salmons has more than enough experience to make the call in those situations ... Trust me it will be Salmons he runs the show.

Still nice to have Vanderhoof in your ear.

The West Carter- GC game was way too close for me to think that West would beat Raceland.

Comparing scrimmage scores?
