Sean Mcneil is a top 10 player in the state. Argument can be made for Sean or CVH being the best player in the 9th this year.

 

McNeil is heads and shoulders above CVH. CVH plays hard and is a great teammate. He's not the best on his own team in my book.

These lists are so hard to put together so arguing about them is really an academic discussion.

 

However, I'll say this.

In all seriousness, Sean is certainly the one that jumps out at me as being far too low on the list.

One flaw I see is, no disrespect to Jeryd Jones but how is this player honerable mention in the 10th region and ranked 19th while Austin Crawford ranked one of the best in the 10th 39th on the list.

I don't know how anyone can put together an accurate list for any age group. I suck at ranking kids and have seen a lot of them and I couldn't imagine trying to do it for a living. By the time I made a list for the 2017 kids and felt good about how I put it together it would be 2019.

I remember when Kel Stotts was a freshman and we heard his name a lot.

Jake Duby not a top 60 in 2017 class? 6'3" SG, 24.1 ppg, 51.8 fg%, 41.4% 3pt fg%, 82.8 ft%, 7.2 rpg. Draws opponents best defenders and is boxed, face guarded and chased all over the floor night in and night out. I know it's not all about stats and I am not knocking anyone on the list, but how many on that list have those numbers?
