No mention of Costa. Mourinho called him man of the match.

Yeah for getting Gabriel worked up and thrown off the pitch. That's about it. :D

I was being sarcastic. I can't believe that Gabriel bought it. If he just walks away, there is no doubt that Costa gets a second yellow in the next 10 minutes. Once he was able to get into Gabriel's head, it calmed Costa down and he was able to work his magic.

I'm so sad that Diego Costa got a 3 game suspension...

I knew once it was getting reviewed he was screwed. He definitely orchestrated the whole thing.

However, as much as people hate him and I can understand why..... I still love his tenacity. He takes a lot of shots almost every match and a lot of times doesn't get the call based on his reputation. He has that fighters mentality and that's one thing I really like about DC, he's not going to ever give up or back down.

Oh is the Premier League still going on? I follow Aston Villa and so I wouldn't know. They've already checked out, apparently.

Been a weird start to the EPL season. Chelsea had been hovering just over the relegation line and teams such as Swansea and Crystal Palace have been towards the top. Chelsea, Man U, and Arsenal have all dropped some questionable points.

Very weird start.

In another life you and I will meet to watch Villa v Liverpool and drink beer all day watching college football. Liverpool DOMINATED 86 of 90 minutes...and gave up 2 goals in those 4 minutes. It is frustrating cheering for them.

Bye bye Brandon Rodgers, hello Jergun Klopp

Chelsea/Everton game today, wow! Instant classic.

Going to be some controversy over this one, but it was a great match to watch, primarily the second half.

Agree. Good comeback from Chelsea. Felt bad for Tim, because that last goal shouldn't have counted.

When was the last time you saw a 99th minute goal in an EPL game? Crazy.

Fun morning today. Villa outplayed Leicester for a lot of that game but could only get the one goal and were fortunate not to go 2-0 down on the penalty. Villa will need an incredible miracle.

Two things worked against Tim and Everton at the end. As a Chelsea fan I cannot complain but I do hate it for the Evertonians. Extra time was at 7 minutes and the official held his whistle until almost nine minutes. Even I felt Chelsea were fortunate enough to get a couple of extra possessions. Everton defended well and I thought the game was a wrap but the whistle never sounded.

Then you have Terry who was in an offside position when he got the head flick on.

Tough break for Everton, even as a Chelsea supporter that was very fortunate for them.

Rooney.

Man U 1

Liverpool 0

Big win for Man U. Rooney doing Rooney stuff
