What do you believe?

 

I think there are all types of things unexplained.

 

So me, yes aliens, ghosts, and other strange things.

 

Ghosts, when I was young 35 years ago, I lived in Normandy Green apts.

Saw a ghost on the grounds.

Living in Normandy Green, you could have seen any number of things.

I certainly don't believe we are alone in the universe, not by far. However, I don't believe that we have been visited by other life.

The mere size of the universe and the possibility [probability] of water on other planets/in other galaxies[?] makes me think there has to be some other form of life out there.

My wife says she married one.

I was watching a program on NOVA related to the topic of the possibility of life on other planets, (which I feel that it's very likely that there is, as vast as the Universe is), and a scientist made an interesting observation that with the tons of life that we have here on earth, humans are the only that are considered to be "Intelligent Life" and considering all the life that exist here, "Intelligent Life" here is a complete rarity amongst living creatures and plant life.

 

With that in mind, sure there's likely to be plenty of planets that exist out there with life, but very possibly the existence of "Intelligent Life" when using Earth as an example just might be so incredibly miniscule when compared to all of the life that exist.

 

Of course I have no way of knowing, but using Humans as an example, then I'd say that there's definitely a chance that "Intelligent Life" exist elsewhere considering that we are living proof that it does, but maybe a very minute percentage when compared to the existence of all life within the Universe.

I think there almost has to be life somewhere else in the universe. As for ghosts, nope, not a chance.

I could write a book just on encounters I had at Normandy Green Apartments.

I believe there are millions if not billions of other intelligent life forms in the Universe/Multi-verse. Additionally, the Universe as we know it is around 14 billion years old while Earth is around 4.5 billion years old. Or put another way, many many plants have billions of years head starts on Earth.

 

Also, I said this in another thread recently, not all of those other life forms are friendly. I assume most of them are benevolent but there has to be some evil out there, and anything could be out there. I also believe we have been and continued to be visited by these aliens on a regular basis. On rare occasion they make determinations to reveal their presence but most of the time they fly in between the radar.

 

Any way you cut it, the American Government needs to tell us everything they know about other intelligent life in the Universe. The only issue is that would directly affect our National Security interests which makes this one of the most sensitive issues for our well being any way you cut it.

 

All I can say is I hope our leaders have everyone's best interests in mind.

 

Finally, I sure hope I am alive when Alien Intelligence is revealed to everyone on Earth whether it is our government doing it or the Aliens making their own decision to do it.

I believe in the grand scheme of the universe we are not nearly as smart as we think, and much dumber than we think. Big universe and big God. Who knows?
