July 28, 201511 yr Author John Fay @johnfayman Holmberg will start Thursday. And is in rotation for now. Stephenson was not considered. #reds
July 28, 201511 yr I think how well Suarez is batting is going under the radar. Seems like a pretty good return from Big Pasta. If he could just improve a little more defensively.
July 28, 201511 yr Runs scored this year Reds 385 (3.97 a game) Cards 397 (4.01 a game) Runs allowed this year Reds 407 (4.20 a game) Cards 265 (2.68 a game) So yes, I will take very good pitching all day long. Great stats. :thumb:

Lots of guys have issues with errors when they are young. I like what I've see so far, he can figure it out. Barry Larkin had 29 errors in 1988 as a 24 year old.

July 28, 201511 yr I thought this video from the Blue Wahoos game a couple nights ago was pretty funny. Kyle Skipworth and Manager Pat Kelly were both ejected and put on a nice show before leaving the field . [video=youtube_share;lMhA_Tw2hfw]

[video=youtube_share;lMhA_Tw2hfw] Even if I were not an umpire I would disagree with your assessment that it was a nice show. It's one thing to be mad about a call. It's another to turn yourself into a clown show. Same with that clown in the Braves organization a few years ago who was crawling around the field acting like he was throwing a grenade. I'd fire that clown immediately. But that's just me.

I could care less about the Reds AA manager that's why I was able to find it funny. If it were Bryan Price I wouldn't be laughing, he already made a fool of himself once this season. As far as the player Skipworth goes he's a bum as well so they can get rid of him. I agree you shouldn't go about getting tossed the way they did but I still think it's hilarious.
July 29, 201511 yr Not only will I take pitching at the MLB level, but stockpile your system with young arms and then go get an impact bat/player. Look at the trades that have gone down. Like Marlon Byrd? Reds have no clue what you just described
July 29, 201511 yr Bourgeois 7, Phillips 4, Votto 3, Frazier 5, Bruce 9, Suarez 6, Barnhart 2, Leake RHP, Hamilton 8 What's wrong with right handed Byrd tonight?
July 29, 201511 yr Is Frazier wearing his uniform the way it is tonight in honor of Leake (thinking this may be the last time they play together)? Don't remember seeing him show the socks before.
July 29, 201511 yr Wow. Votto just crushed one dead center. Where's Plantmanky? Suffice it to say that Votto is seeing the ball very well right now!
