July 27, 201511 yr Jay Bruce has hit VERY well against Lance Lynn. In 28 AB's, Bruce has 14 hits, 3 HR, 1 2B, 2 3B and 10 RBI. He's walked 2 times & struck out 6. Brandon Phillips is hitting .290 against Lynn (9/31) with 5 RBI. Joey Votto is also hitting .500 off of Lynn, going 8/16 with 1 double & 7 singles. He has also walked 5 times against Lynn for an OBP of .636. Everybody else has really struggled.

He has the third highest avg on team and an OBP of .345. And a great clubhouse guy and helps with the Spanish speakers. So for a back up catcher/fill in, he is excellent.

If Dominguez was in the minors then they replaced him with Skipworth giving them one more position player than they had with Cueto. Dominguez spot on the 40 man I presume will be taken by one of the pitchers acquired in the trade?
