July 19, 201511 yr i would take Towles all day long he has already won a big game and almost upset Florida something UK qbs has never done. That's the thing he almost beat Florida, he didn't beat Florida and a bad Florida team at that. So even with a bad Florida team UK still didn't win. Your point would hold more water if they were playing horseshoes when being close actually gets you something.

He really had the chance to cement the QB1 slot last year but did not. His lack of consistency is his biggest issue. His intermediate game per Stoops is not as good as Drew's. The first couple of games will be interesting. (And I agree that PT will get a shot in an NFL camp)
July 19, 201511 yr Towles had 303 yards rushing 6 tds and 225/393 57% 2718 yards 14 tds 9 ints. Pretty good numbers as a first year starting.

July 20, 201511 yr Either way not guilty. Then add in his little comments he said in the middle of campus that got him in trouble after that really showed his maturity. His off field stuff and even accusations were far worst. Which goes to show that these colleges are going to play who they think gives them the best chance. And as much as you hate it, apparently the UK coaches seem to think Barker may give them as good of a chance if not a better chance and is wanting to possibly give him a chance to show it during the game.
