I don't know Drew at all but I did hear straight from a Former coach at Conner that isn't a Football coach that the best day in Conner Athletics was when Drew enrolled at UK. He said it with a Smile on his face and a sense of relief! I wonder what he meant by that?
August 13, 201511 yr I want to see what Drew can do. With more QB's coming in, I don't want him to spend his UK years on the sideline and wondering if he could have played at this level and be successful or not. I want to give him a try and see what he can do.

Ohio state had 3....just sayin What I really want to see more than anything is for UK to give Cam Fogel a shot this year. He has better hands than Timmons, not saying Timmons won't play but he was a disappointment to me last year. But Fogel has the speed and I'd love for them to give him a shot in real games.

Agree on Fogel. Uk is 1 easy reception across the middle of beating Florida last year. JMO!

I won't go there because I have way too much respect what Drew did at Conner as an Athlete. Whatever the perception of Barker was from a few non Football coaches won't change what I think of Drew Barker! A very special football player that will have his time to shine. Right now it's P.T. I remember when Jared was at Kentucky. How many times did Jared lose his job to the hometown kid in Shane Boyd only to win it back on Multiple occasions? There are people that hired Stoops that are pressuring him to play Barker. I can guarantee you that! P.T. will be as good as the players around him. As will Barker!

August 13, 201511 yr Author Dave Trosper would beg to differ on this one. They don't grow D1 guys on trees in Hebron. I'm sure he will miss his QB a ton. I am guessing he meant his character. I don't know Drew, never met him, so I can't speak on that. He doesn't seem like a total Zeke Pike but he also isn't a Pat Towles either in terms of off the field. The OSU guys I talked to didn't say anything bad of his character in the brief time they had together.
