So you won't answer my questions? Good to know you're avoiding the conversation because it may not support your rant.

So I'll answer them for you. 44 games (43.1 IP) on the year.

In those 44 games he's given up 9 earned runs.

That "stretch" as you call it was 30 games (28.2 IP) where he didn't allow an earned run.

In 39 of his 44 games he didn't allow an earned run (38.2 IP).

But please tell me how bad he is.

I was curious so I looked up Hoover compared to Chapman this year. Batters have a higher average against Chapman than Hoover (would not have guessed that) and Hoovers WHIP is better.

That's odd because I've heard Hoover is terrible.

I have zero faith in Hoover. I don't care what the numbers are in this half a season.

I am not sold on him, but other than his terrible year last year, he has been more good than bad. He had solid seasons in 2012, 2013 and an excellent year so far this year. He was horrible last year.

Amen, at least somebody else knows. Although, on paper he is good, so it must be true.

Once again, you still haven't pointed out why he's so terrible. So I'll ask again, what makes his so terrible.

Or you can continue to ignore facts and just keep bashing away.

I have a feeling I know which route you'll take.

You're right and I'm wrong. Happy?

How about Votto? Is Votto horrible. I don't care about stats. He was a terrible last year, and don't give me career numbers or this year, he was terrible last year and I don't trust him.

Why do you think Hoover is terrible?

You're right and I'm wrong. Happy?

Haha still avoiding the question. You really have nothing to back up your claim do you? You were just hoping nobody called you out on your ridiculous claim.

Hoover is nothing more than an arm. Anytime he takes the mound, its just like when Nick Massett was here, you know there is a higher chance of him giving up the lead than holding onto it. He's not made for pressure situations IMO.

I could care less. I know plenty of people of who agree with me. I won't lose any sleep over you calling me out.

Hoover had a streak of something like 28 straight innings and 30 straight appearances where he didn't allow a run. Complain all you want about Hoover's up and down career, but to say he's been bad this season is simply ignorance.

Next time I am in court, I am going to try the "My client is not guilty. I don't care how much evidence you have or even the video you have showing him commit the crime, he is not guilty. And I have some people that will agree with me judge."

He has 3 seasons that's were pretty solid now and 1 that was bad. This year he has been awesome. To say otherwise is just stupid.

He's been horrible the last 3 outings and that is some cause for concern but overall he's had a really good season.
