June 22, 201610 yr Heard the announcers talking about a potential Bruce trade during a recent game. They were in Texas and he is from down there.....
June 22, 201610 yr Author 1) I'd imagine $15M+ a year. 2) No. That'd put him in his late 30s by the end of that contract. Would put them in the same situation they're in right now. 3) I think they can get an organization's top 10 prospect and one to two mid-lower level guys for him. Thanks, I agree and as such I think right now is the time to let him go. If the Reds don't pull the trigger on him this summer I think once again we'll lose a player for little to no return.

June 22, 201610 yr There is no question they are going to trade him this summer. Anybody want Bruce? That could be a bigger issue.
June 22, 201610 yr Author Anybody want Bruce? That could be a bigger issue. At his current production and relatively inexpensive price, I think a contender with a hole in the line-up or injury would be smart to go after him. He's a free agent after next season so if it doesn't work out they can part ways. Actually I think next season can be bought out for $1,000,000 if a team want to dump him after this season.

Which is why he's a very attractive piece to contending teams. He's been incredibly productive this season, and if he keeps it up, you've got him next year as well for cheap. If he struggles, you can cut bait for only $1M.
June 22, 201610 yr Anybody want Bruce? That could be a bigger issue. He's the highest rated player available so yes. I'll assume you are kidding.

I get that and agree with what your saying but it doesnt answer my question. WHO? We can say they have to trade him but where, does no good to say it if there is no one who wants him.

June 22, 201610 yr Author Royals, Sox and Blue Jays have all shown some interest in Bruce going all the way back to Spring Training.
June 22, 201610 yr He's the highest rated player available so yes. I'll assume you are kidding. Again I will ask the question WHO?
June 22, 201610 yr Again I will ask the question WHO? Why do you go out of your way to be so obtuse in these threads? It's beyond tiring.
