June 30, 201511 yr Do, or attempt, the Bambi Walk I've done a few. It might be fun to try again, but I think I'd probably end up in a coma these days. I'm not in drinking shape anymore.
June 30, 201511 yr A lot of people hate Thunder. Lots of people, terrible traffic downtown (unless you plan appropriately). I have always loved it. I'm bummed when I don't make it down there. Absolutely hate it. The best thing about Thunder is that there are no crowds at other places in town.
June 30, 201511 yr Absolutely hate it. The best thing about Thunder is that there are no crowds at other places in town. I only attend the airshow. If I wanted to hang around a bunch of drunken fools I would go to a family event.

June 30, 201511 yr Absolutely hate it. The best thing about Thunder is that there are no crowds at other places in town. I'm a people watcher, so the rest is worth dealing with for me.
June 30, 201511 yr Maybe the memories are gilded by time, but Ollie's Trolley was always a treat in the 'Ville when I was young. Not sure if it is "bucket list worthy," but the Urban Bourbon Trail is pretty cool -- particularly the Evan Williams Bourbon Experience -- and very KY. Finally, it is kinda cheesy but KentuckyShow! at the Kentucky Science Center is worth the time. Wouldn't make a special trip, which basically excludes it from any "bucket list," but if you are downtown anyway it is a good showcase.
July 1, 201511 yr A. Done that. 2. Daughter's favorite; likes it better than Imp's. D. On my bucket list for sure. PM me, I know a guy who can get you tickets.

July 1, 201511 yr PM me, I know a guy who can get you tickets. I may take that guy up on it sometime. It is seriously one of the things I want to do while my avatar is still in the 'ville.:thumb:

August 9, 201511 yr One of my very good friends was one of the curators for ReSurfaced this summer. I was down there Saturday as well. I'm looking forward to the new space in September! Too late if you want to go to ReSurfaced . It has been condemned.
