One of my kids was involved in organizing a charitable fundraiser there for October 10 and they were told it was condemned after they were aready signed up. The City is having them relocate the event to under the Second Street bridge next to the YUM Center. I don't really know why it was condemned.

I've learned that the problem is the potential (or reality) of bricks falling and that "condemned" was too strong a word. Apparently, it is closed only temporarily. Sorry for the misinformation.
