I'd say if you have the most highly regarded interior offensive line in the state, and enough talent around them, you couldn't ask for more as a coach. Now it is about making kids execute. We'll see how they mesh.

Possible, but not guaranteed. A lot of kids are recruited on potential and a well-seasoned line with experience and technique could be better than raw talent.

 

Either way, these three will be strong up front and should be a credit to their team.

 

if you have 3 kids like that that are considered among the top in the state then they should be very good if not then maybe they should have hired a high school football coach.

Watched them play at West Jessamine last season, and they had their way on offense. I don't think the 3 ranked kids play on the D-Line, but I could be wrong. I'm positive that not all three played both ways.

 

That's where Woodford struggled, they couldn't stop WJ's offense — and WJ didn't have much of an offense last year.

Very talented group, they are huge but it has never turned into wins for the program, maybe this year they make some noise.

ZERO experience in the head coach position and assistant coaches. He was a head coach of a middle coach and I believe he has his brother in the his staff who was a head coach, but did not last at that position. Not saying HC won't be successful, just taking about this season. Nothing wrong with the payers, all season vets and talented group, just quiet experience yet at the coaching position. That's how so....

I don't know why there is a new head coach. Also what I meant to say was new coaches now are not quiet experience as a HC at the high school level. Not saying they will not be success in the future season.

Woodford County has three (3) ranked offensive linemen in the top 13 recruits in the state, including top ranked center - Drake Jackson, per 247 Sports.

I assume that Central Hardin will take them to the woodshed.

Guess who left Meade County 2 years ago as defensive coordinator to become head coach at Central Hardin? Tim Mattingly.
