June 22, 201511 yr Looks like Johnson will either win it with an eagle or two putt it for a playoff with Spieth. I'm personally pulling for Spieth but he'll probably have to earn it with an 18 hole head to head.
June 22, 201511 yr BTW, if Spieth were to win the US Open, he'd be the first guy since Tiger Woods in 2002 to win the opening two majors of the year, and just the second one to do it in the last 43 years. Only five guys have ever done it: Craig Wood in 1941, Ben Hogan in 1953, Arnold Palmer in 1960, Jack Nicklaus in 1972, and Tiger in 2002. That's some great company.

June 22, 201511 yr Feel terrible for DJ, happy for Spieth. Say what you will about the course, the setup (especially the 18th as a 5). At the end of the day, the USGA got exactly what they wanted - a crazy finish, a worthy champion, the whole nine yards.
June 22, 201511 yr Wow...what a finish. Feel like the Open was lost on three different times on the last three holes. Grace's hit out of bounds cost him on the 16th. Looked like Spieth lost it on the following hole. And then DJ gave it away on the 18th. Heck, the only guy who looked like he wanted to win it coming down the stretch was Oosthuizen.
