Credit to Steve Kerr. Switching lineups up to make sure Mosgov is not playing is huge. Cavs lose their rim protection (most of the time) and Timofy is the only other player than LBJ to step up offensively consistently. IMO.

Curry really wanted redemption. Two incredible three pointers in the fourth. How is Iggy so bad from the stripe?

As I said after last game it doesn't matter if James goes off they have to play defense and hold the Warriors to 90 or less in regulation. The Cavs wouldn't have won the other games James went off on either if it wasn't for defense.

The chances of the Cavs winning this series was small to begin with. However if they can't keep the Warriors offense down it doesn't matter.

Here is the flaw in your stance. The Cavs played great defense on all but 1 or 2 of the shots GS hit down the stretch. In a 5 minute sample size against a tough shot maker like Steph, how well you defend depends exclusively on him making or missing a well defended shot.Trying to rationalize it as bad defense isn't accurately describing what happened...

I loved when LeBron called himself the best player on the planet in the after game press conference.

That is true. Some of the shots Curry made in the 4th were just crazy, they couldn't have played much better defense than that. I guess I should say play great defense, and hope the Warriors are not making contested shots.

Just had a bad night and couldn't shake it mentally I guess. He was around a 70% FT shooter on the season.

I know Kerr went really small and forced Blatt to sit Mozgov but I would have tried him in there at times and went to him in the post. You could have given Lebron a rest for 3-4 possessions doing that.

This series is over IMO. Warriors are just too good and too deep.

LeBron should be Finals MVP regardless of the fact that they're most likely going to lose.

I'll be alright with another Warriors blow out in Game 6.

In the few short stints where LBJ has gotten some rest on the bench, the rest of that cast is comedy.

Cracks me up seeing 20 and 21 year olds crushing LeBron and those who think LeBron is better than Jordan. You guys were like 3 when Jordan was playing. Your opinion on the comparison has no merit. :lol2:

I did, too.

How can Mosgov not get more play? 9 minutes? Really? I know Cleveland is playing with a limited cast, but Mosgov is friggin good. Like maybe top 5 center in the league good (at least when paired with James). And before anyone poo poos that, name 5 better that you can definitively take over him.

The number again for LeBron is the assists. Don't get caught up with how many scores and his impact as it relates to the game. They will let LBJ get to 40 points on 34 shots. At halftime James was at an astounding clip. 20 points, 8 rebs, 8 assists. 2nd half: 20 points, 6 rebs, 3 assists.

The Cavs were in it late, but you knew the levy would break at some point. They couldn't keep the pace and Curry went stupid late.
