June 11, 201511 yr I honestly don't know...wish I could give you a better answer but I don't know. Based on my own past experiences...I nearly got fired (put on final level of discipline) because I stood up for a co-worker and had their back...so I guess my default position is that I would tend to back my guy until there was no way to back him any longer. If evidence ended up strong against him I'd do what had to be done...as I did also in the past. Guru made a good point on the reasoning for the behavior displayed by the officer...based on what G described I think I'd have his back for now, based on what we knew at the time. Same here as far as actions. I think in this situation there was no way to defend the cop after the investigation was done by IA. The chief's words were damning and he threw homeboy under the bus while commending the other officers. Makes me think there wasn't any way to defend the flagrant officer.

According to multiple witnesses the 2 white women in that video were making racial comments to the teenagers. They were then confronted by a 19 year old female who was hit by one of the women. I would imagine that is the video that you posted. The girl that was put down by the officer was 15 according to reports so it wouldn't be the same person. Here's a quote by one of the teens: This is when, according to Thomas, a 19-year-old black woman told the belligerent white woman to stop fighting with the teenagers. The white woman called the black woman a “ derogatory name,” then walked up to her. After the young woman said her age out loud, the older woman punched her in the face. If he has the ability to control his emotions and not post statements on Facebook that would upset his entire school base and maybe he still has a job. He could have came on BGP and ranted and I bet he'd still have a job. Gotta be smart about stuff you say publicly nowadays. This is the PC world we live in now. Gotta play by the rules.
