May 31, 201511 yr Shouldn't surprise anyone. This is his first taste of success since being in the league, why would he throw that away by joining the Lakers who were reported to be the favorite to land him if he opted out? The Lakers aren't going to be a contender anytime soon.

That said, I think If he went to the Lakers where he was more of an offensive focus along with this years #2 pick the Lakers could be decent with another move or two pretty quickly and could challenge in the west with in a few years...if Randle and this years #2 pan out.

No. You start Love and Thompson, that leaves about 28 minutes for Mosgov and Varejao. 8-10 minutes is more than enough for Andy. He's falling apart.
