Ill take Boyle over Belfry if both make it that far this season

Danville has, I believe, close to 10 state titles. I don't care about their recent downturn. They would definitely be a blue blood / old money.

Which could mean folks putting them in the New Blood (money) could be because of more exposure/talk. That could also be a result of technology. 30 years ago a lot less people would've known about Bowling Greens recent success let alone success during that Era.

 

That makes no sense if there is an old blood category. The 2 categories are the subject of the thread.

I cannot grasp what you have said because there is a category called old money and you are wanting to bring up technology and a 30 year period? Is that what you are doing? Just 30 years? Is that how old you are? Why is 30 years special when old programs have been playing for 100 years in some cases?

Because it's what was mentioned in PREVIOUS POSTS by OTHER POSTERS. I'm old enough to recognize when people can't comprehend what they're reading based on their replies.....

I'm not sure I feel comfortable putting Danville on the list, because it's been awhile for them. But they're the next in on that list.

 

Another group I'd be interested to think about, along with old and new money, would be future money. Who is on the cusp of being top tier?

Cov Cath and Fort Campell are hard to choose between New and Old Money, but definitely belong in one of them.

 

I also think that teams with a high win total don't necessarily belong in the 'old money'. A total win record can be greatly padded by the school's age and by easy schedules. A good total win record is an indicator of old money, but without some titles they don't make the cut. This is also why I would call Bowling Green new money rather than old.

 

As for the 'Future Money' I have high hopes for Desales. 1A has some possible contenders, and 4A might produce some. I suppose we'll have to see.

If Bowling Green is new money then Trinity is also. BG has more wins than Trinity and a much longer tradition than Trinity. Trinity has more titles but they haven't been around that long. Kind of like Mark Cuban. Just because they have more titles doesn't mean they automatically become more rich in tradition than everyone else.

 

BG and Trinity are both old money.

 

Boyle County is new money. Danville is old money.

 

Danville has 10 titles and top 10 in all time wins and they are omitted? Seriously?
