May 18, 201511 yr Trying to drive off when an officer is reaching into your vehicle is not smart, hence the resisting arrest. Sitting in an empty parking lot with your car running/lights on at 2:30am is not smart either. Especially if you are hammered and have weed on you. My guess is he was waiting for some company at that point.
May 18, 201511 yr Wow. This is insane. From what I've heard this is not surprising and I'm not sure how the administration at Newport didn't know something like this was going to happen eventually. Maybe they did, we wouldn't know, but this is a total shame.
