What do you expect from UK 2015-16?

Featured Replies

Let's see,

Cats return: Lee, Ulis, Poythress, Hawkins, and Willis. All 5 of these guys could start for almost every team in the country.

Yet a bunch of people seem to think they're not very good because they weren't better than the gang that's leaving.

We have some pretty incredible talent coming in too.

I expect them to challenge for the championship.

Not saying they'll win it, but I expect them to challenge.

Right match ups they're there. Wrong match ups they're not.

5-10 losses and a shot to make a run in March

Make a run towards the final four.

2 losses non conference and maybe 3 in conference.

I expect a run at a Final Four, with some bumps along the way.

I still feel the same, but I think our chances are much better that this happens. Can't wait for October!

This. They will be ranked in the top 2 or 3 pre-season.

Who's the top 3 or 5 picks for next year?

I think the overall level of good/talented teams next season will be down from what it was last year. UK lost a lot but have some nice replacements. Same for Duke. I suppose Kansas will be in the mix.

I agree that UK will be in the top 3 somewhere. I've read some other sites that have them at number 1, but that will be determined by how much effectiveness they receive from the front court. I believe the guards are going to be top notch.

With the Murray signing, the Cats have moved to the favorite in most sportsbook to win the NCAA at 5/1. They were 9/1 before Murray's announcement.

They can make a Final Four run and win the title with a break or two. I love the make up of this team and I am more than excited to see what Ulis can do with complete control of the team.

Teams with fast guards and versatile bigs win most NCAA championships--This team has very fast guards and quick, versatile bigs.

Spot on.

For proof just look back at UConn's last two national championships.

He's dunking now from the video I saw last night on his Twitter.
