June 8, 201511 yr Let's see, Cats return: Lee, Ulis, Poythress, Hawkins, and Willis. All 5 of these guys could start for almost every team in the country. Yet a bunch of people seem to think they're not very good because they weren't better than the gang that's leaving. We have some pretty incredible talent coming in too. I expect them to challenge for the championship. Not saying they'll win it, but I expect them to challenge. Right match ups they're there. Wrong match ups they're not.

I think the overall level of good/talented teams next season will be down from what it was last year. UK lost a lot but have some nice replacements. Same for Duke. I suppose Kansas will be in the mix. I agree that UK will be in the top 3 somewhere. I've read some other sites that have them at number 1, but that will be determined by how much effectiveness they receive from the front court. I believe the guards are going to be top notch.
