It's summer ball and it's early but Casey looks pretty solid early. They're up 17-6

Danville never really has size and I heard that Jared Southerland isn't playing so that hurts them also. Spencer McKinney and Kobi Turner are their best players off the top of my head. I think the rest are pretty young and have little varsity experience.

I believe Casey County will be at Boyle County next week. I'm looking forward to seeing them then.

Varsity final was 47-27; Casey looked like a veteran group that has been together a little while. They also have a new player who adds some size and depth. I'm told they had two other guards that didn't play today but will be with the team next week.

 

Danville lacked size and couldn't seem to get the ball in the hole. Many missed layups and open jumpers. McKinney played ok but couldn't get any shots to fall. I think it was Turner (not 100% sure) who left the game limping and holding his ankle. I don't think he returned. They didn't play as bad as the score would indicate but it's summer...
