Did Drew McDonald not get an invite?

There were no tryouts. The team was chosen by a committee.

This team has nice size I think they will do well.

6'7 Evan Hall, Knott Central

6'9 Aric Holman, Owensboro

6'6 JaQualis Matlock, Hopkinsville

6'7 Justin Miller, Owensboro

6'5 Zach Patterson, Elizabethtown

6'1 Jalen Perry, Ballard

6'7 Matt Rose, Lexington Christian

6'2 David Simmons, Henderson County

6'10 Ray Spalding, Trinity

6'4 Dwayne Sutton, Manual

6'4 Peyton Woods, Wayne County

I also will not talk bad about any player, and I truly hope that all who were selected play well. However, I do not agree with the coach of an all star team representing the state of Kentucky having the right to take care of his own to the exclusion of others who, at least on the surface, appear more deserving of a spot on the roster. It would be one thing is there were tryouts and perhaps the less-heralded player showed in the tryout that he was deserving of a roster spot. Of course, that did not happen. I haven't seen all the players at issue, but some pretty good players were left off the team.

I think it's unfair to look at one player(player A) who made the team and just because he's not a marquee name to most people we say how did that young man beat out (player B) who everyone knows. With that being said in this case I saw the Tyler boy play several times throughout the seaon and he doesnt have to take a backseat to any of the players who made the team and I saw several of those players play multiple times as well.

Is there any chance the young man turned down the opportunity to play?

Zach is a nice player, but Hagen should definitely be on it over him.

Also who is even backing up Beetle? Would have liked to see Timmy Taylor, Jeremiah Bell or Tay Weaver on that team. Timmy probably is the best choice, just because he's so much different from Beetle.

What about Zach Pangallo is it because he plays baseball why he is not in consideration. I do agree Hagen should be on this team and Drew McDonald also

Zack is a good player, but when I saw him this season he struggled with bigger and more athletic guards which is what Indiana has.

Nobody is mentioning Trey Moses either, but the 2015 class in Kentucky has much more size than usual and while Trey or Drew could help the team their are good players in their place.

I disagree with both your comments but thats my IMO. McDonald should 100% be on this team IMO

I'm not sure you could for sure take anyone off the team and improve it by adding Drew McDonald. They might be just as good but not better

No matter what everyone is going to have a disagreement about who should be on team or who shouldn't we are all coaches who think we know everything lol. Good Luck to all the kids that made it.

Unfortunately, I think the KY-Ind series time has past. Like all events of any type you have to do something to keep it fresh and interesting and unfortunately, this event has not accomplished that task. The Lion's club group has done a great job for many years with this but when it gets to the point it has; it's just time to reassess it's validity......

Both the NCC players mentioned are great players and have elected to play ball for free at the next level, but I think you may be wearing the blue and gold colored glasses on this one. The list is solid and probably both of these kids had their names brought up during discussions.

Its alright Omega Man nothing wrong with wearing Blue and Gold glasses I think they look cool on me but you forgot to mention that I do think Hagen should be on this team also I dont think he dress in blue and gold if im not mistaken lol

Outside of Bolden there are no other primary ball handlers. Guard play will be the demise of this team if he gets in foul trouble. Decent looking roster size wise though.

And who the heck is playing PG? Beetle Bolden struggled with the Indiana guards last year.

Struggled??

He led the team in scoring both games with 17 and 21 points and both were efficient shooting games.
