Allow me to be the first to ask who is Zach Patterson and why is he making the list over Hagen Tyler?

And who the heck is playing PG? Beetle Bolden struggled with the Indiana guards last year.

The question of why Zach is on team could be better answered by who is the coach of the team....

Zach is a nice player, but Hagen should definitely be on it over him.

 

Also who is even backing up Beetle? Would have liked to see Timmy Taylor, Jeremiah Bell or Tay Weaver on that team. Timmy probably is the best choice, just because he's so much different from Beetle.

The Elizabethtown coaches are the coaching staff for the game. I'll wave the Hagen Tyler/Jeremiah Bell flag harder than anyone in this state. At the same time everyone needs to take a deep breath and think about the position the Elizabethtown coaches are in and allow them to do the same thing that every single coach in this state would do in their situation: Take care of their own.

 

Instead of tearing down the kids and the coaching staff ask yourself if you would leave off one of your own in the same situation. I wouldn't. I'm sure 99% of you wouldn't either.

 

Congrats to to all who made the team!!!! Make us proud and good luck against Indiana!!!! I hope to be there in person to watch the game.

I agree with DJAS 100%.......but still doesn't seem right for the kids that "earned" a spot? I am riding the fence on this one!!!

When you don't have a tryout....this is to be expected? And the tryouts they had in previous years were a joke....attended several in person. Maybe that's why Indiana leads the series recently?

Take your emotions away from it and you'd take one of your own just like the ETown coach did. I can't be mad at loyalty and won't be mad at loyalty. Not one person in the state will or can convince me that Jeremiah and Hagen don't belong on this team. They BOTH should be on the team. Best backcourt in the state WITHOUT QUESTION. At the same time I'm not going to disparage anyone else on this team or how or why they got there. I just want to see the KY All Stars do good and compete and hopefully win.

Indiana leads the series because they have more talent than us. Nothing more nothing less. Anyone who has the privilege of seeing kids from both states play against each other on the AAU circuit will likely agree.

Me personally...I could care less if I coached a kid or not. As coach of the Kentucky All-Star team, my job is to put the best players on the court and beat Indiana. I would personally have Tyler and Bell both on the team.

I would as well but it's naive to believe that people wouldn't say we put them on the team because of our bias.
