Reds @ Cardinals series (4-17 thru 4-19)

Featured Replies

Took 2 of 3 in September of 2011 in St. Louis.

A preview I read said that the Cardinals have won 8 straight series against the Reds in St. Louis and 20 of the last 22. Hopefully they are due.

Tucker Barnhart and Devin Mesoraco both in St. Louis.

Wonder what kind of roster moves we're going to be seeing.

I agree' date=' plus Kevin Gregg needs to pitch more to get out of his funk.[/quote']

I wouldn't start Gregg on my softball team.

I would let him do some mop up work on my girls softball team. You know, just some meaningless innings that wouldn't affect the outcome. Damn bum...

Got a friendly bet with the boss for $1. I have the Reds +4 runs on the series.

So if they Reds win 2-1 tonight, 4-3 tomorrow, and then lose 9-1 Sunday, you lose? :lol2:

Or perhaps he could use those 4 runs at his discretion.

Not sure what you're saying, but if you have Reds +4, that means you add 4 to the total the Reds score in the entire series, and if it's less than the Cards, you lose.

I'm saying perhaps they bet on who wins the series, and MJ has 4 runs at his disposal to use to swing any game(s) to a Reds win.

So they recalled Barnhart and sent down Skipworth, which means no Meso still.

This makes 4 straight games with a short bench.

Skipworth? Never heard of him.

Catcher they brought up on Monday.

No moves to the bullpen it seems.

Jocketty is a joke.

You are correct, but I'll gladly give up $1 for that to be the outcome of this weekend.
