April 16, 201511 yr Yeah, I'll take one for the team. Got a 50/50 chance at stealing a win tomorrow if JC can get through 8. Maybe Homer can be good Homer on Saturday, but no shot on Sunday with Leake v Wainwright. Hoping to come away with 1.
April 16, 201511 yr Is it bad that this early into the year I already have really low hopes for this series?
April 16, 201511 yr Serious question. It is no secret that the Cardinals completely and totally own the Reds. It is even worse in St. Louis. What if I gave you guys the option of taking a 1-2 record this weekend and not have to play the games. Would you take that and not risk going 0-3, save the bullpen and not risk any injuries?

Foreman beat Frazier. Maybe the Reds can beat the Cards.
April 16, 201511 yr Why do they schedule the games like this? They just played them Sunday, and now play them 5 days later?

What if I gave you guys the option of taking a 1-2 record this weekend and not have to play the games. Would you take that and not risk going 0-3, save the bullpen and not risk any injuries? What kind of competitor would answer yes to that question? I get it that Cards have owned the Reds, but the Reds have their top 3 on the bump, they've been hitting the ball, and it's April. You can't give in to a team... :banghead::banghead:
April 16, 201511 yr Why do they schedule the games like this? They just played them Sunday, and now play them 5 days later? Because they have to play them 18 times throughout the year so it's gonna happen like that sometimes.
April 16, 201511 yr Author Sometimes the JV beats the Varsity. And occasionally there is a fight, who'd want to miss out on that? M.Byrd can't hit a beachball with a Fred Flintstone wiffle ball bat, but I bet he'd choke the neck tattoo off of Molina.
April 16, 201511 yr Author When was the last time the Reds won a series in St. Louis? The solid guess with anything positive about the Reds is to guess 1990. Always.
April 16, 201511 yr When was the last time the Reds won a series in St. Louis? 15 years? Looks like it might have been 2006.
