I am thinking 80-82. Still think the Central will be fairly tough from top to bottom. Cardinals, Pirates, Brewers, Reds and Cubs in that order. Could conceivably see three playoff teams from this division but guessing two with the West providing the other wild card team.

76-86 And a frustrated MJ come late August haha!

Thief!

65-97

Hmmmm...the Reds aren't in Kentucky and aren't part of the SEC. I wonder what hatred is driving this prediction.

A lot of UK fans are Reds fans....Thus NCF has to hate them.

The Reds offense will be significantly better this year. The starting pitching will probably be about the same at the end of the season. Bullpen, hard to believe it could be worse this year. The bench is better.

Overall I see the Reds being a better team this year but finishing no better in the standings because they are in the toughest division in baseball. I will be optimistic and go with 78-84 and fourth place. Despite the hype, the Cubs will finish last in this division.

How do you see the bench being better? And the rotation is likely takes a decent step back as well. The offense might offset that but I think they end up much the same as last season.

I dont see the offense being much better. The offense has been the weak link for this team for years. Streaky hitting is its M.O.

Need Joey and Bruce to remember what the back of their baseball card looks like. Sounds like Bruce still doesn't remember because from what I understand he didn't do well in Spring Training.

Byrd will be a little improvement in left.

Need Frazier, Mesoraco, and Billy to make some more positive strides this year.

JMO, but I'll take Boesch, Dominguez, and Negron over Santiago, Heisey, and Hannahan. :idunno:

Kept Hoover but cut LeCure. Still 'hoping' that Votto earns that big contract? That Bruce can hit his weight? That BP won't implode the whole team hitting 7th? I'm calling it a disaster. 63 wins total. Bright spots? Iglesias into the rotation after Cueto gets hurt.

Heisey was an asset off the bench. EDH, not so much. But off the bench he thrived. I'll be pleasantly surprised if there's anyone offensively who can match what he brought.

Retarded.
