Should a baker or a photographer be forced to do a gay wedding if they don't want to?

How backwards do you have to be to severely punish those who have serious religious objections.

That's what has to be balanced with not discriminating against others, tough balancing act.

Money talks

50 million here and 40 million there and pretty soon you're talking some real money.

For those who claim this is discrimination, have you forgot how Chic Filet wasn't welcomed in Chicago, NY, Boston, San Fran. Because of being a Christian based company and what an owner said but yet anyone and everyone who wants to buy is allowed.

Yes and if I remember correctly many people called them on it, didn't they?

Plus this wasn't the only school to ban them for fear of religious reasons.

Plus in the post about cities banning ten an you saying people defended them on here, all anyone ever said was they wanted to eat or how hungry they were, they didn't bash the places for it.

Was that because of existing laws or because of the owner's anti-homosexual beliefs? I honestly don't remember.

It was either due to donating money to Christian groups against homosexuals or something he said in an interview. I think interview.

Still yet they were discriminated against, but it is ok since it's a Christian group, but hell to pay if anything other

I can't wait for the next Whitehouse press briefing when a reporter asks why Obama voted for the Illinois version.

Indiana's law is virtually the same law Clinton signed in 93... Much ado about nothing...

A question for those that are vilifying Pence.

If I'm a professional photographer that also happens to be a card carrying member of PETA and I'm approached by owner of a hunting lodge who wants me to do a photo shoot for his lodge am I allowed to decline on the grounds that as a member of PETA I oppose hunting?

Would someone break down the pros and cons of this type of legislation?

In other words, why does the government say it is needed and why do some organizations oppose it?

Yes.
