It was out of line to try to apply them as well. I should leave that to others. If you would just open your ears, or eyes in this case, and read the simple, unadulterated facts presented to you, you'd know what to think, feel, how to vote, what to eat, when to pee, etc, etc. It's all right there. All you have to do is give up yor own opinions and thoughts. Why should you waste what little of your addled brain is remaining? All of these people have it all figured out, and there's not a chance in hell they're wrong.

I disagree with you often regarding political things on here but have never called you names as I respect your opinion - even if I don't always agree with it...

If a Christian has an opinion that is contrary to what the MSM thinks it should be, there will be hell to pay... And for what its worth, I would have no problem catering a gay wedding myself. But I don't think I should have to if I don't feel alright with it from a religious perspective.

April 4, 201511 yr You know how restaurants will put certain icons on the menu next to certain dishes to indicate certain things about it? Say, a peanut if the dish has nuts in it, or a chile pepper for a spicy dish. Aren't those also used to indicate dishes prepared according to kosher or halal specifications? How hard would it be for certain businesses to just use a rainbow on their website/menu/brochure to indicate those places are happy to have homosexuals as customers/clients? Then folks could just go to the one that suits them best, were that a baker, caterer, whatever? Or even vice-versa — if someone who is a business owner and wants to avoid business that might not jibe with their personal beliefs they could use a cross or some other such Christian designation? While I abhor the concept of discriminating against someone for any reason, religious or otherwise, at the same time how long does the hyper-confrontational personal phase of this fight need to continue? Why can't people just live and let live?

That's the double standard. It was argued in this thread that personal beliefs should have NOTHING to do with a business owners decision weather to take someones business or not. Clearly this woman's beliefs led her to discriminate against someone. The people at the pizza place that was vilified for refusing HYPOTHETICAL business said very clearly that they would never refuse service to gay people in their shop, just that they would not take part in the celebration of a ceremony that went against their beliefs. Obviously these bible quotes go against the bakery owners beliefs, why is she able to refuse?
