What if a Muslim bakery refused gay business ??

It wouldn't be allowed...Not sure why you'd think it'd be any different.

Muslim business have repeatedly refused gay business.. You just won't hear about from MSM..

I find it hard to believe that this has happened very often. If it had, I'm sure Mtn Ref would've been sure to post the stories on here.

The operative phrase:

But by this week, Mr. Pence, the governor, was visibly alarmed by the economic fallout threatening his state.

You're absolutely correct. The Republicans would be smart to exit the religious/social issues arena (as Barry Goldwater advocated back in the '60s) but that ain't likely to happen anytime soon. Which is one reason why the GOP fares so poorly with the 29 and under voters.

They should be held accountable. Of course, that was clearly staged and I'm not sure I can take anything seriously from a website as stupid as fireandreamitchell.com, but yes it shouldn't be allowed.

I'm going to assume, and I'm just spit-balling here, that the reason this hasn't drawn attention is because it didn't occur in Indiana, you know, the place that the new law was put into action.

No but singing at a marriage certainly would be and now a singer of faith could be compelled to sing at a same sex wedding.

Just wondering. I keep hearing about cake bakers and didn't think that had anything to do with religious rituals.

If I heard right the fund for the pizza place is at $700,000 today while another gofund for gay rights has $o. That's ridiculous that people would send money like that.

On a related note I'm hereby announcing that I will not complete tax returns for gay people. Look for future instructions on how to contribute to my gofund to help fight this battle! Pizzarias are not the only victims!

I wonder how many of these pizza pledges actually will be honored. Also wonder whether the pizza place owners plan to share their right-wing windfall with their cooks and drivers. Probably not.

Since you cited the $$ discrepancy in the gofund accounts, here's something else to chew on ... from the Arnold Schwarzenneger article that I posted earlier:

"Both sides of the Indiana debate used Twitter to voice their support, and the result couldn’t be clearer. According to Zignal Labs, as of Wednesday night, #StandWithIndiana had been tweeted 5,571 times. Meanwhile, #BoycottIndiana was tweeted 430,728 times."

Using GoFundMe, the funds are captured at the time of the pledge.

And if I'm not mistaken they are tax free in most cases. Unbelievable.

So, what you're saying is that liberals will only talk a cause but won't back it with money? Unless it's other people's money of course.

And if I'm not mistaken they are tax free in most cases. Unbelievable.

That part I'm not sure about. But I have donated to several different GoFundMe campaigns and the charge is applied immediately to the card I use.

But, yeah...unbelievable if tax free.
