April 2, 201511 yr Sigh...There are no sides. We all play for the same team, the United States of America. I really think the majority of people in this country see an issue, and pull out their Republican or Democrat talking points cheat sheet to see how they're supposed to feel about said issue. It's incredibly disheartening.
April 2, 201511 yr The pizza shop in question has never been asked to cater a gay wedding nor have they ever declined to serve gay customers....
April 2, 201511 yr It's easy to take that stance when your side is currently the most egregious offender. I was called a racist "sphincter" today on my Facebook because I posted a picture of Obama with a caption asking when the April Fools joke was over. That's one less person on my friend list. Anytime a conservative disagrees with a liberal it must be because they are : bigoted misogynistic homophobic xenophobic or they are just to heartless to care about poor people or they are just to stupid to realize our side is right. If that's not intolerance I don't know what is. A. My guess is that neither of you will miss the other too awful much. 2. Not all the time, but often. Intolerance is a great word that covers all four. D. Misinformed. Not stupid. Again, different strokes for different folks. I'm pretty far to the left of the vast majority of this board. But I'd probably enjoy the heck out of sitting down and drinking a brew with just about anybody on here.:thumb:

April 2, 201511 yr North Carolina also is considering a bill similar to the Indiana and Arkansas legislation. N.C. Gov. Pat McCrory, a Republican, told a Charlotte radio station recently that the proposed law “makes no sense.” He asked, “What is the problem they’re trying to solve?” Thank you.
April 2, 201511 yr Obviously the threats and harassment are awful, and there's no excuse for it. I don't see an issue with the story though. They gave an answer to a question. If there business suffers because of it, that's on them.
April 2, 201511 yr The "evil" Mom and Pop that was ruined for telling the truth. LINK Donations now exceed $240,000 for the "ruined" business. Link below. Support Memories Pizza by Lawrence Billy Jones III - GoFundMe

April 2, 201511 yr For those that think this law is a good thing.....Are you good with companies that support it having to close if their support causes people to stop giving them business?
April 2, 201511 yr If that's all that causes it. I'm not sure that's the case here. I believe that an overzealous editor of a TV station in a small and insignificant market sent a reporter to a small town expecting to get exactly this response. The TV station created the story.
April 2, 201511 yr The store owner created the story. They didn't force her to respond the way she did.
April 2, 201511 yr My question for the reporter and one that she has refused to answer is how many other business owners did she talk to before she found one that fit her agenda? Why didn't any of those interviews air?
April 2, 201511 yr Is it true that the Apple CEO is calling for a boycott of Indiana over this but Apple just opened a new store in Saudi Arabia where they KILL GAY PEOPLE? Sounds more then a little hypocritical to me. It is not true.
