April 22, 201511 yr Jeff Passan @JeffPassan 26s26 seconds ago Kris Bryant is now hitting .444/.583/.611. Since his 0-for-4 debut, it's .571/.684/.786. He's going to be OK at this baseball thing.
April 22, 201511 yr The Cubs are set for the next 10 years. They have such a great core of great players that are so young. I think they have among the top minor league prospects now playing for them all 25 years old or younger. Something like 5 players among the top prospects in all of baseball now playing on the big league team. They will be a fun team to watch the next 5 or so years. I'd love to have Theo as our GM.
April 22, 201511 yr Well the good news, the Cubs can only go up. They have been pathetic for the last...well forever.
April 23, 201511 yr It's not hard to get good prospects when you continually draft near the top every year because you suck. Cubs are going to be really good for a while. I still don't think it's this year, but 2016 will be.
April 25, 201511 yr Author Third and LF tonight — I like that they're willing to move him around to try and find a spot for him. He keeps mashing and they'll live with whatever defensive deficiencies he has.

Totally agree. As a Reds fan, with two teams in the division that seem to be so well run now, it is kind of depressing. Theo and Maddon are a great combo and we all know how well the Cardinals are run...
May 17, 201511 yr Bryant's production makes sending him to the minors at the start of the year an even smarter move IMO.
May 18, 201511 yr Third and LF tonight — I like that they're willing to move him around to try and find a spot for him. He keeps mashing and they'll live with whatever defensive deficiencies he has. It says a ton about him. They aren't worried about not easing him into the bigs.
May 18, 201511 yr Author I'm just excited about the future of this team. Of course, for Cubs fans, that's usually right around the time something traumatic/tragic happens.
May 18, 201511 yr There's not a Reds fan on here that wouldn't like to be in the spot the Cubs are in. We've got one of the top GM's, managers, and young talented rosters in the league. It's so clever to make the original Goat jokes...
