Loving this weather

Featured Replies

I get tired of seeing people crying on Facebook about the weather, and having to commute to work. As you can see I had no problem getting to work this morning. I even wore my flip flops.

It is beautiful outside. My workplace is closed. Looks like I am forced to snuggle up and have a movie day with the kids. :thumb:

So I shouldn't mention that it was 83 here yesterday with no clouds?

OK, I won't. duck.gif

Heard last night that you were the only state in the country without snow....Any houses for sale near you? :D

Again, you did an AWESOME job of cleaning your driveway and sidewalks of snow. :thumb:

Ok, I usually LOVE snow...look forward to it all year round. Now, however, with my dad and now PH I am really upset about it. Not the snow so much but the ice.. We live out in the country and our roads do not get treated or plowed. If our roads did, I would not mind it. Tomorrow, I need to get PH to dialysis and looking at the conditions I don't know how that is going to be possible....but, I will find a way. If I can get through the snow to get on the main roads, it will not be bad at all.....Now, that being said....I went outside tonight and it was really beautiful. The moonlight on the snow made the snow look baby blue. There are so many rabbit tracks along with other critters that I can't identify on the snow....just really beautiful!

No? Not word? Not even to report?

And I can't complain in August when it's 95 with 95% humidity and my AC runs 24/7, either?

You take all the fun out of everything.

BTW, I've always thought Lake City, Florida or Valdosta, Georgia to be the perfect places to live. Never too hot. Never too cold. No snow. No tornadoes. No hurricanes.

Yes. Mine. How much you got?

Define "never too hot".
Define "never too hot".

I forgot, hot is a relative term with you. Anything over 70 and you start complaining. You should move to Alaska, or at least to the UP.

I remember one of the times the family and I vacationed in Naples, Florida and of course passed through Valdosta. It was 105 degrees and humid, the heat index had to be at least 115. To me, that would fall under the definition of "too hot" lol.

Seeing how in Ky it's always 95 heat and 95 humidity as well in August, I'm trying to figure out where we should feel sorry for you.
