March 4, 201511 yr So the Bills have McCoy, Spiller and Jackson? Well, just McCoy but I'd say he has one year left and is done. Bryce Brown too I think.
March 4, 201511 yr Eagles are going to sign Demarco Murray. Just wait. I believe they have something like $30 million in cap space. They will offer him a pretty solid contract and steal him away from Dallas.

March 4, 201511 yr In the NFL it's always better to sell early than late and when running backs lose it, they lose it. However, I'm not sure about this move. We'll have to wait and see. If 4.2 ypc and 1300 yds is losing it then I want some. He's only 27.
March 4, 201511 yr I am confused what the Eagles are doing. When you start letting the coach run the whole show, it usually ends up bad. The best orginizations have a strong GM, except "hoodie". Only positive is the Eagles save 9M + in cap space for 2015. Reports say Kelly is setting up for Marriota, however, I see no way they get from 21 to the top 4 where he is likely to be taken. They'd have to give up way too much to get there. I believe the Bucs will take Winston, but there in no guarantee yet, they still are evaluating both. I agree. And you can make the case that "Hoodie the coach" (with a lot of help from Brady) has made up for mistakes made by "Hoodie the GM" on more than one occasion.
March 4, 201511 yr The crazy part is the Eagles just signed a LB that the Packers cut his Brad Jones.
March 4, 201511 yr I'd say the Eagles will draft a RB as well. I was thinking that the RB class coming out is considered to be weak so they may be able to grab a RB late and in the draft with little risk and see how he pans out.
March 4, 201511 yr As a former season ticket holder, and lifetime Eagles fan, I can tell you most of Philly is pretty upset right now, and Chip better be right or he is getting run out of town. McCoy had an up and down year last, that statistically ended up being pretty good. I think there is a good chance that McCoy has already had his best year, and could fall off that running back cliff very soon. That being said, I don't think they got great value in this trade. We will see next year how good Chips system is. I also have to say I think I'm responsible for the trade. I just bought my son a McCoy jersey for Christmas, which continues my streak of bad luck. Every jersey I've ever bought, that player has either gotten hurt or traded that following year.
March 4, 201511 yr If 4.2 ypc and 1300 yds is losing it then I want some. He's only 27. I didn't say he had lost it. But the Eagles see him every day and perhaps they see more tread on the tires than they want to work with. I'm not saying I would have traded him, I'm just saying it might make more sense than we on the outside know.
March 4, 201511 yr I get that, but Sproles is not an every down back and Polk is still unproven in carrying the load. Can't see getting rid of McCoy unless he is a problem child. Doesn't seem to be, that I have read. 30 is pushing it for a RB, I know, but he has not shown any signs of hitting the wall. I agree on Sproles not being an every down back but Philadelphia's offense treats almost every down as third down with their approach.

I agree about having a strong GM, with Belicheck being the exception but he is so cold and calculating that he doesn't let emotions dictate decisions. Philly and Chip Kelly are starting to look like an organization that cannot separate emotion and relationships from business.
March 4, 201511 yr @Schottey · 10h 10 hours ago Source tells me Eagles would’ve cut LeSean McCoy and were just calling around to find *anything* for him. Bills only took 20min to say yes.
