Say it ain't so! Bengals TE Jermaine Gresham: "My Heart Is In Cincinnati...

Featured Replies

I want to stay there."

Unfortunately for Gresham, the fans seem to choose to focus on the negative plays more than his positive contributions in the form of becoming "Twitter Tough Guys", AKA slinging insults at a professional athlete behind the safety of a computer screen. It wasn't as bad as a certain Bengals quarterback getting trash strewn across the lawn of his home, but it did cause Gresham to label himself "The Villain" on his Twitter account because of the hatred spewed his way.

Yep, it's all our fault!

I think he should be a Bengal for his entire career.

We will trade you Gresham and Dalton for Big Ben.

As much as Gresham frustrates me, I wouldn't mind having him back if he comes back for a decent price. He is a pretty good blocker and does know the scheme. However I only want him back though if the coaches plan to still transition to using Eifert more as long as he is healthy.

To me this is the same type of situation that you have with Dalton. If you have a better solution then go that direction, if not, re-up and hope that things get just a little better to get them over the hump.

I still say the problem with this organization is the head coach. Think he has taken this team and organization as far as he can and it is time for someone else to step in and raise the bar even higher.

I think with keeping Gresham it all comes down to the price tag. If he is looking for a big contract, it is time to part ways and look for help in the draft. Along with running backs, the tight end has been devalued, and you can pickup a good tight end in the later rounds. Hopefully this is a cross roads for him, and he decides that he wants to be a part of this team for a reasonable cost. Also he needs to elevate his play to his potential that all Bengal fans have been waiting for since he got here. He can help this team if he keeps focus on the team part.

In 6 years you have a deal

It is thought that the Browns will let Jordan Cameron go through free agency rather than franchise him. He is one of the premiere pass-catching TE in the league. The Browns are willing to let him walk because he wants big money and he has had multiple concussions. When he is healthy he is unstaoppable. But it's hard to keep him on the field. Maybe Cinci will make a play for him. But then again, I said he wants big money and Mike Brown isn't known for that.

Gresham's name has been mentioned as a possible pickup for the Browns. You guys who know the Bengals, does he have much left in the gas tank?

BTW, there is a kid at Minnesota, Maxx Williams, who is supposed to be the next James Witten (Cowboys). He will likely go early for a TE.

I've never been nearly the Gresham hater that lots are, and in fact I've always leaned towards being more a supporter of him than anything else. I like his versatility, and yes I said it, his dependability. His flubs seemed to be so magnified when in many situations he has solidly completed important key plays. When he does I rarely hear anyone give him praise, but when he errors, you'd think that he was the worst player that there ever was. I think that he brings a solid necessary spirit to the Bengals, and I'm all for keeping him.

Bengals could have drafted Dez Bryant, Gronk or NO Graham.
