February 26, 201511 yr Holy Cow! We just received our order form from the Reds since we have a small season ticket package. One bleacher seat ticket is $377. One Red Seat ticket is $742. With this price you get the following: 1. One commemorative program. 2. 2 tickets to fanfest at convention center. 3. One ticket to all star Sunday which includes futures game, legends and celebrity softball game. 4. One ticket to all star workout day featuring home run derby. 5. One ticket to the game. So, who thinks this is a reasonable price? Or, what price do you think is reasonable? When we ordered prospective World Series tickets a couple of years ago, they were a fraction of this price.
February 26, 201511 yr Ridiculous. Mr. every day fan has no chance of attending with those prices! They will sell out though.
February 26, 201511 yr Reasonable in the sense that they're comparable or less than All-Star Game tickets most years? Absolutely. Average price for last year's in Minnesota was much higher. My brother bought a half-season ticket package just so he'd get these. He did research and found it to be cheaper to buy the season tickets, and then the All-Star game ticket that way, than to just try and get the All-Star Game tickets.
February 26, 201511 yr Pretty sure the MLB sets the price for this right? Considering everything you get it's not THAT bad. It's pretty pricey though. I plan on attending at least one event.
February 26, 201511 yr That's pocket chanage for @Watusi. He'll probably buy 10-12 tickets for his family, and close friends.

February 26, 201511 yr I took this to mean the cheapest ticket was $700... $350 for everything you get ain't bad at all for getting you in the door.
February 26, 201511 yr I will never like baseball enough to pay $350 dollars to go to a game. I don't care if it's Game 7 of the World Series.
February 26, 201511 yr I will never like baseball enough to pay $350 dollars to go to a game. I don't care if it's Game 7 of the World Series. How bout 3 games? Futures, derby, all star.
February 26, 201511 yr The only reason they are charging this price is fans are STUPID enough to purchase them.

At first blush, I thought the pricing was preposterous. But, when you look at the entire package it isn't gawd awful. If you are interested enough in all the events to actually make use of them, it comes out to give or take $100 per event depending on your seat, Myself, no idea what the fan-fest entails, but I'd likely be interested. No interest at all in Sunday's events. If I had a ticket I'd attend Monday's event, and the all-star game is a neat deal. So the pricing doesn't seem quite so bad. Until you realize, it is an exhibition game. That park makes me cringe all over again at those prices. But, to each his own.
February 27, 201511 yr How bout 3 games? Futures' date=' derby, all star.[/quote'] I'll pay 350 for those 3 but I'm a fantasy baseball nut.
February 27, 201511 yr How is it any different than $1000 for a super bowl ticket? One is a game for a championship.
